Alors, c'est quoi ce truc, vraiment ? On est sur du bon ou du blabla marketing ?
Franchement ? J’étais sceptique. Genre, *très* sceptique. J’ai déjà acheté des cartes WiFi... et ce n'était jamais "wow". Mais là… le truc, c'est que j'avais des micro-coupures CONSTANTES sur mon ancien WiFi. Le genre qui te fait rager quand tu joues à un FPS et que tu meurs bêtement. Alors, j'ai craqué. J'ai acheté l'AX900. Et franchement… BOUM. C'est pas du blabla. C'est, pour moi, un peu le messie du WiFi, quoi. Enfin, pour le moment… Attendons de voir dans le temps. (Je croise les doigts !).
L'installation, c'est la galère ? J'ai pas envie de me prendre la tête…
Alors… ça dépend. Si t'as déjà trafiqué dans ton PC, ça va. Si tu touches ton PC comme un enfant touche un cactus… prépare-toi. Faut ouvrir le boîtier (arrrgh, la poussière !), repérer le port PCIe (c’est un grand machin, faut pas se planter), viser, et… *ahem*… prier que ça fonctionne au premier coup. Mon problème ? J'ai des doigts de saucisse. J'ai galéré avec les vis. Elles sont *minuscules*. Mais bon, une fois branchée, Windows a reconnu la carte direct. Drivers ? Pas trop de soucis, téléchargés sur internet… (faut juste survivre à l'interface du site internet, c'est souvent le plus dur !)
Anecdote : J’ai failli tout péter. J'ai cru que j'avais mis la carte à l'envers ! J'ai paniqué. J'ai soufflé, j'ai pesté… et puis j’ai réalisé que j’avais simplement mal vissé les antennes. *Soupir*.
Ça change quoi concrètement ce WiFi 6 ? Je vais pouvoir télécharger des films en 2 secondes ?
Alors, les 2 secondes, faut pas rêver. Mais oui, ça change *beaucoup* de choses. Déjà, la stabilité. Finies les coupures intempestives. Le ping est clairement plus stable aussi. Pour le gaming, c’est crucial. Ensuite, si t’as une connexion internet qui dépote (style la fibre), tu vas *vraiment* sentir la différence. Les téléchargements sont plus rapides, la navigation est plus fluide… C’est comme passer d’une 2CV à une Ferrari, quoi. (Bon, une Ferrari… d'occasion, mais quand même !)
Observation : J’ai remarqué que même quand toute la famille squatte le WiFi (streaming, téléchargement, etc.), ma connexion reste nickel. Avant, c’était l’enfer.
Et le Bluetooth 5.3 ? Ça sert à quoi, ça ?
Le Bluetooth 5.3... c’est le bonus. Je l'avoue. Avant, j'avais un dongle Bluetooth qui marchait quand il voulait. Là, c'est intégré et ça fonctionne *presque* parfaitement. J'ai connecté mes écouteurs sans fil, ma manette de jeu… et pouf ! Ça roule. Moins de déconnexions, une portée plus grande… C'est un vrai plus, surtout si vous êtes comme moi, à jongler avec plusieurs périphériques Bluetooth.
Impression : J’adore ne plus avoir à me battre avec les câbles et les dongles qui se perdent. Simplifiez-vous la vie, quoi !

Bah, oui. Rien n'est parfait. Déjà, le prix. C’est pas donné. Faut être prêt à mettre le prix. Ensuite… *hum*… Les antennes. Elles sont… un peu moches, je trouve. On dirait des appendices aliens sur le dos de mon PC. Et il faut bien les positionner pour avoir le meilleur signal. Pas toujours facile. Et pis… faut le dire, ça chauffe ! Rien de dramatique, mais bon, faut le savoir. (Y'a un petit radiateur dessus, quand même. Le "cool" qui fait "pas trop"... )
Un peu de râlage : Pourquoi les constructeurs ne pensent jamais au design ? On dirait qu’ils s’en foutent complètement.
La compatibilité avec Windows 10/11, c'est sûr ? J'ai pas envie de me retrouver avec un presse-papier à 50 balles…
A priori, oui. C'est conçu pour. J'ai Windows 11, et ça a marché sans problème. Mais bon, je suis toujours méfiant avec Windows. *Soupir*. C'est un peu comme dire à une voiture "tu vas rouler"... Tu attends toujours le moment où elle va tomber en panne. Mais pour l'instant, rien à signaler. Si vous avez Windows 10, ça devrait être pareil. Vérifiez juste les drivers sur le site du constructeur, au cas où. (Ne faites pas comme moi, qui ai négligé les drivers au début... ça a failli mal finir !).
Alors, on achète ou pas ? Vous validez ?
Verdict : Si vous galérez avec votre WiFi actuel, si vous êtes un gamer, ou si vous voulez tout simplement une connexion plus stable et plus rapide… OUI, ACHETEZ ! Malgré les quelques défauts, c’est un excellent produit. Je ne regrette pas mon achat. C’est un peu comme quand tu retrouves tes clés après les avoir cherchées partout. Un soulagement ! (Surtout si vous êtes aussi tête-en-l'air que moi). Mais attention… attendez-vous à devoir *un peu* bricoler pour l'installation. Et préparez-vous à payer le prix. Mais… pour moi, ça les vaut. (Enfin, pour l’instant… on verra dans le temps. Je croise les doigts.)
Conclusion : Je suis satisfait. Très satisfait. Allez-y. Foncez. Mais… soyez patients et ayez un peu de courage !
